Several friends I know are actually looking at schools that would provide them the necessary training to become a successful medical assistant in the field. As most of them are working full time they are most interested in getting the education online. Most have researched for schools online that will deliver world class training while adjusting to their schedules. They are looking for schools that will actually allow for offline delivery of study materials so they could study them during their free time. They found a school online, St. Augustine School of Medical Assistants and now they are trying to check if an online education is possible. Several reviews showed that they do have a high percentage of medical assistants successful in the medical field.
Cookouts!

A friend has always been a fan of cookouts over at her place and though she is not a good cook she said she’s learning. I mean living in the heart of LA gave her the advantage of attending several cooking class provided by culinary schools in the area. What’s amazing about it is that the courses offered are rather cheap and in abundance see if you google for cooking classes in Los Angeles then you would get several results . Tried it myself and cooking classes LA afforded rather several hits each with their own websites that gives all the details needed for an aspiring applicant to look into.
Now on cookouts I was told hosted by Lizzie they occur every other weekend and they always have a theme; say a Caribbean dinner party or a french theme for example. She has been a constant follower of the reality tv series, Dinner Takes All and has managed to try at least 4 or 5 recipes posted on the tv series’ website. Pretty cool huh?! You see the producers of the series actually posted the recipes on the site and I gotta tell you apart from them being exquisite they are also very exotic. The kind you really won’t recognize looking at their names from restaurant menus which is usually the case for me as I am not a food connoisseur and I prefer menus with photos to match.
Now with the cooking class that Lizzie is currently attending asked them to make a portfolio of some sort filled with photos and recipes of the dishes she has cooked and served. And I look forward taking a look for it once its done, I think it would be pretty interesting.
Baby Shop

Was out window shopping last weekend and I found this newly opened shop for kids and they have really cute displays of baby things in all variety of colors. From clothes to cribs and high chairs to toys and gifts. What’s nice about the store is that not only do they have an enticing and relaxing atmosphere they also have friendly staffs who were all smiles and readily available to give a hand. There’s a section for baby girls and then for baby boys and I found this really nice pink baby bedding together with a light pink crib bedding. The sales lady said that they go together in a bundle so buying it would be a smart move as I would be able to save quite a lot.
I told her I won’t be doing any shopping today but am just looking around, she smiled and said have fun and feel free to call on any of them should I have any questions. Though the shop just opened but they already have a Selected Items on Sale section and a lot of mothers I presume and looking around. There’s this cute light blue kids bedding that is probably fit for a kid of say 4 to 5 years old and it was 30% off. If only I had extra monies … but no I’m strictly following my budget so no unplanned purchases.

Someone at work sent out a mass email to everybody on the floor once advertising his car for sale. Looking back at it I remembered clearly that it was a nice blue colored Honda civic say less than 2 years old and if am not mistaken he was selling it for about a hundred thousand pesos and that was negotiable. Now I am not a car expert, I don’t even want one for myself … the sheer responsibility of it all is just beyond me. Online there are several websites selling brand new and secondhand parts of cars but there this website that sells Honda accessories for a decent price. Anyone working on a Honda car would not have a hard time finding parts to work with. I have always considered wheels a liability given the responsibility and the amount of money involved in maintaining it. But now I realize that it might be a good idea to have one if you have got a family especially for ease of traveling.
Insurance policies, the possibility of hitting something or someone in the road, and there’s what also the repair shop bills and gas to think of. I’ve always told my friends I don’t want a car now and I don’t see myself getting one in the future though I don’t mind riding in one anytime. Lol I don’t say no to free food and free rides.
